Version: v1.0
This Dispute Resolution Policy (“Policy”) outlines the procedures for resolving disputes between users (“you”) and Splitifi (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Splitifi, you agree to these terms.
1. Informal Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any concerns. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our support team at support@splitifi.io.
2. Mediation
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt to resolve it through mediation before initiating arbitration or litigation. The mediation will be conducted by a neutral third party in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
3. Binding Arbitration
If mediation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration conducted by the AAA under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in Hennepin County, Minnesota, unless both parties agree otherwise. The arbitrator’s decision will be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
4. Exceptions
This Policy does not apply to disputes related to intellectual property rights, unauthorized use, or access to the service, or allegations of criminal activity.
5. Modifications
We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of Splitifi constitutes acceptance of any changes.
