How to Update Your Case Info for Accurate Insights

Splitifi’s intelligence and dashboard tools rely on accurate case data. Whether you’re early in the process or halfway through litigation, updating your core case details ensures the platform delivers insights, timelines, and document tools that actually match your situation.

1. Enter Your Relationship and Case Milestones

  • Include your date of separation, date of marriage, and — if applicable — dates of temporary orders or court filings.
  • These dates help Splitifi frame your timeline correctly and filter your dashboard by relevant legal phases.

2. Set Your Role and Opposing Party Info

  • Choose your user role (litigant, attorney, mediator, etc.) to activate the right tools for your needs.
  • Enter the name of the opposing party and their known legal counsel, if applicable. This allows for predictive analysis of motion behavior and court engagement patterns.

3. Identify Core Issues in Your Case

  • Select which legal issues are involved: custody, child support, alimony, property division, abuse claims, etc.
  • This tells Splitifi what to prioritize in your dashboard and which sections of the platform to activate first.

4. Keep the Info Updated as Your Case Evolves

  • You can always revisit your Case Profile tab to update details as new motions are filed, orders are entered, or dynamics shift.
  • Staying current ensures timelines, motion tracking, and document tagging stay aligned with your goals.

Splitifi doesn’t just track your case — it helps you understand it. But that clarity depends on you inputting the right foundational information. A few minutes now will save you hours later.
