How Does the Timeline Tracker Work?

The Timeline Tracker is where your case becomes a story — not just a stack of documents. It’s a structured, chronological view of every event that matters in your divorce or custody proceeding. Whether you’re logging communication breakdowns, documenting exchanges, or preparing for trial, the timeline turns chaos into clarity.

What the Timeline Tracks

  • Key Events: Record any event — from a missed custody exchange to a financial dispute — and anchor it to a specific date and time.
  • Attachments: Link screenshots, emails, filings, or scanned documents directly to timeline entries for seamless referencing.
  • Tags by Issue: Every timeline event can be tagged by category (e.g., parenting, finances, communication, safety) for easy filtering and legal relevance.
  • Private Notes: Add your personal insights, reminders, or context to each entry. These are kept private unless you choose to share them.

How to Use It

  • Go to your dashboard and click on the Timeline tab.
  • Click “Add New Entry” to log an event. Include a title, date/time, detailed description, and any supporting documents.
  • Use issue tags to classify the entry and make it easily searchable later.
  • You can edit, delete, or duplicate events as needed. Everything is timestamped and locked to your case history.

Why It Matters

Courts don’t respond well to vague memories. They respond to clear timelines backed by evidence. When you can show what happened, when it happened, and how it connects to documents already in your case file, your position becomes more credible — and harder to ignore.

Your Timeline Is Your Foundation

Whether you’re going to trial, negotiating through mediation, or preparing testimony, the Timeline Tracker helps you deliver your case as a story — built on facts, not feelings. It’s not about dramatizing. It’s about organizing. And that clarity can shift outcomes.
