Understanding Your Rights as a Splitifi User
At Splitifi, we are committed to protecting the rights of all users—litigants, legal professionals, and judicial stakeholders alike. This policy outlines the core rights you hold over your data, your experience, and your engagement with our platform.

This User Rights Policy describes the data, platform, and legal rights afforded to all registered users of Splitifi. These rights apply regardless of account tier, jurisdiction, or user role.
1. Right to Access
You have the right to access all data and files submitted to or generated by the Splitifi platform under your user account. This includes case records, financial data, timelines, and usage logs.
2. Right to Data Portability
Upon request, you may export your case data in machine-readable format, including PDF, CSV, or ZIP formats. Splitifi allows full case export for attorney transitions, archiving, or court submission.
3. Right to Correction
You may request corrections to system-generated insights, motion data, or financial interpretations if an error is found or if an update is required due to court activity or personal revisions.
4. Right to Restrict Access
You may limit who can access certain data blocks (e.g., financials, communications, timelines) within your team or legal group. Access control permissions are available in account settings.
5. Right to Deletion
You may delete specific case files, data points, or your entire account at any time. Upon deletion, Splitifi removes your content from active systems within 7 business days and from backups within 30 days unless legally restricted.
6. Right to Transparency
Users will be notified of any major platform change, policy revision, data use modification, or AI model update that may materially impact rights or decision-making within the platform.
7. Right to Privacy
All users have the right to have their data handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data laws such as GDPR and CCPA. You may opt out of optional analytics or training data contribution at any time.
8. Right to Non-Discrimination
No user will be denied access, restricted in features, or deprioritized in support based on race, gender, age, financial status, attorney representation, or user tier. Platform features are delivered impartially.
