I’m the one who sends the emails that keep people up at night.

“People think the attorney runs the case. But most of the time, it’s us—paralegals—keeping it all from falling apart.”

I’ve worked in family law for six years. I’ve seen everything—lies, tears, threats, breakdowns. But the hardest part is watching people weaponize procedure because they know they can.

I don’t give legal advice. I can’t. But I’m the one who organizes your life into exhibits. I’m the one who reads your texts, sees the gaps, notices what’s missing—and has no authority to say anything.

I’ve worked for brilliant attorneys. I’ve also worked for ones who’d rather escalate than resolve, just to pad the bill.

We have a wall in our office with sticky notes—one for every client who’s gone through five or more motions. That wall is full.

I started researching tech that could stop the madness—not for clients, for us. I found Splitifi while auditing a motion log. One of the parties had included an exhibit that was auto-organized and time-tagged. It was… shockingly clear.

I asked our firm to look into it. The attorneys ignored me. So I started quietly recommending it to clients—especially the ones who looked lost.

Now, when I see a Splitifi timeline come through discovery, I breathe. I know the file won’t explode at 4 a.m. I know the kid’s school schedule will be correct. I know the chaos will be reduced—just enough to matter.

I’m not a lawyer. I’m a realist. And in this system, that’s everything.
