Your Splitifi account contains sensitive legal, emotional, and financial information. Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of protection — making it almost impossible for anyone to access your account without your direct permission. Here’s how to turn it on.
1. Go to Your Account Security Settings
- Click your profile icon in the top corner of the dashboard and select Account Settings, then go to the Security tab.
- You’ll see an option to enable two-factor authentication.
2. Choose Your Authentication Method
- You can receive verification codes via SMS or through an authentication app like Google Authenticator or Authy.
- We recommend using an app for the highest level of protection.
3. Scan the QR Code and Confirm
- Open your authentication app, scan the QR code, and enter the 6-digit code displayed.
- Click “Confirm” and you’re done — 2FA is now active on your account.
4. Store Your Backup Codes
- Splitifi will give you backup codes in case you lose access to your phone. Save these in a secure place.
Two minutes now could prevent months of damage later. Protect your future by locking your account with the strongest digital safeguard available — and breathe easier knowing it’s yours alone.
