Types of Misuse We Monitor
- Overuse of filings or motion spam: Excessive or abusive use of Motion Control features is flagged internally and can be restricted based on usage thresholds.
- Tampering with timelines or documents: Splitifi tracks all edits, uploads, deletions, and role changes — every action is timestamped and logged.
- Unauthorized sharing of case access: Users who grant third-party access without consent risk suspension or case revocation.
- False evidence uploads: Fabricated files can be reported by other parties and are reviewed for metadata and audit inconsistencies.
How We Protect Honest Users
- Audit Trails: Every action taken by every user — including attorneys and experts — is logged with date, time, and user ID.
- Flag & Review Tools: Any user can flag an entry, file, or message for review by our Trust & Safety team.
- Case Freeze Option: If an account is flagged for abuse, it can be frozen temporarily during investigation — protecting other users and data in real time.
- Role-Based Controls: Access permissions prevent any user from exceeding their authorized view or edit boundaries.
